The Hot Melts - Edith
Release Date: March 9th 2009 (Epitaph)
The Hot Melts kick-off the New Year in great style with the release of their frenzied future hit ‘Edith’ on
March 9th (digital release on March 2nd) and a tour with Eagles Of Death Metal in the pipeline.
‘Edith’ is an adrenaline fuelled foot stomper and the logical follow-up single to the band’s excellent debut 7” (I Wish I Had Never) Been In Love’ and proves beyond a shadow of a doubt, that Will Baylis certainly knows a good tune, when he sings ones.
If The Hot Melts were to have a New Year resolutions, it would be… ‘Let the good times roll!’
And it’s official… The Hot Melts will be the main support on the forthcoming Eagles Of Death Metal tour at the tail end of March and early April. These dates will follow a rotating headline tour with This City, Sons Of Albion and Canterbury in February starting the Melts off on what’s set to be a very busy 2009 for the boys from The Wirral!
You can expect an album release later in the year. Keep’em peeled!
